First off, yes, the Negima live-action TV series is a wretched idea. HORRIBLY wretched. It will be bad. That said, the trailer was not nearly as bad as I feared. The girls, with a few exceptions (Zazie) look reasonably like what I'd expect real life Negima girls to look like. Negi talks with a perfect Japanese accent, but hey, drama over realism. It's bad, but I'll actually check it out now to see if it has any interesting elements (and whether they tone down Setsuna's crush).

Read some manga. Cherry Juice is eh. Yume Kira Dream Shoppe was quite good (and done in 1 volume!). Beauty Pop remains fun. Love Com is growing on me. No manga out this coming Wednesday, though.

I also picked up a huge volume of Michael Palin's diaries, Volume 1. 1969-1979. They are apparently unedited, so we get a nice view of Python from someone who at the time did not know how big it would be. It's a long read, but quite enjoyable so far.
