Yen Plus.

(collapses from exhaustion)

First of all, get Bloom County Vol 1! So happy that IDW is releasing this uncut, and flipped, in the original English no less!

Second, get the two Fanfare titles, as they are both utterly awesome.

As for Viz, too much to mention. I will mention Kimi ni Todoke, which is great, Skip Beat, which is fantastic, and Magic Touch, because it's not as bad as everyone is saying.

Aheh. Non-Viz recs? I enjoyed Maid-sama!, and may be one of the few online reviewers who didn't hate Tsubasa Those With Wings. And Viz recs? Most of you might have gotten Pluto this week. Eyeshield is almost done with the Ojou game. The rest is shoujo I've recced before. New titles are Kimi ni Todoke, for those who like Love Com or High School Debut (though without the genki heroine); and Black Bird, for those who like Hot Gimmick and Vampire Knight (i.e. prepare for your feminism to be killed stone dead).

Also, when you see 'shoujo' and 'Asuka', it's technically true, but Asuka is not really like Betsuma or LaLa at all. Think Fantasy Fighting for girls who like bishies.

Yeah, I know. Direct your hatred at the boys from Viz and Diamond.

Recs? Let's start with not-Viz. Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei is a hilarious shonen cult classic, still running in Magazine, and you should all get it. Phoenix Wright fans should note that this 2nd volume focuses on Miles Edgeworth. And I really enjoy Toto. Meanwhile, the Limited Edition Black Jack 3 finally staggers out, zombie-like, from Diamond's warehouse. It's the last one - the series continues in softcover only.

As for Viz, the usual suspects. Shonen? Bleach, Dragon Ball, Gin Tama. Huge pile of shoujo I like. Wild Ones, Skip Beat, SA, Love Com, Honey & Clover. Oh yes, and 4 more Narutos. Sheesh.

I am reminded of Haunted Junction. OH MY GOOOOOODDDD!

Of this monstrous pile, my recs are: Gatcha Gacha Vol. 7, as always. Fantastic, and just finished in Japan at 8 volumes, so almost done. Short Sunzen 1 was fun for me. Of Viz's shoujo, Sand Chronicles, SA, and Love Com are on the rec list. And yes, OK, Nana, though I've fallen far too far behind on it. And everyone loves some Dr. Slump. Or they should. This volume has BABY!
