As mentioned in this post, yesterday there was a John Barrowman-hosted BBC show about his research for reasons of gayness.

Did anyone catch that? The show was great, though I'm not sure how much we can discuss it in this comm, however one thing is definitely worth mention:
I had no idea John slips into almost perfect scottish accent whenever he's near his parents. It was FREAKY...

Just how many more secret scottish accents are there on Doctor Who? :P

Summary: The TARDIS realises how lonely the Doctor is, and does everything in her power to help him. Part one of a (long) series. This will be the shortest chapter of the series. Kinda like a prelude. For now, the story will have the TARDIS and the Doctor as the main characters, but as the story progresses, more Who characters will arrive.

I don’t know that I got across the emotions I was trying to convey here. I think that maybe they’re there, but they could be a lot clearer? I dunno. I was aiming for subtlety too, but maybe things could have been stronger?

Comments and constructive criticisms are welcomed, since this is the first time I’ve written in this fandom. Although I feel like I should be filling out kink meme requests, I got inspired to write this and I’ve learned not to ignore inspiration lest it leave me.

I also feel the need to warn that this is un-beta-ed, because none of my friends that I know of have played GS4, so all mistakes and errors are mine alone. Suggestions for a title are very welcomed too because I have no idea what to call this. It's short, I tried to make it sweet, here it is:

Goddamn it. I am such an idiot. Thank goodness the internet charge just goes on ye olde expense report. Sigh. But if I don't figure out what I did wrong I may not have connectivity tomorrow, grrr.

Also, what the HELL with the SYTYCD male dancer results?? WTF, AMERICA.

And I am becoming increasingly sad and worried as it looks increasingly likely that Jamie Bamber won't be able to make Dragon Con because of his Law & Order: London gig. (I still can't believe I'm going to have to watch an L&O show now.) Still can't hurt to ask him about it on Saturday with puppy dog eyes.

... I just opened up the WIP of the last bit of The Prisoner (switchverse, etc) and started adding to it. For like, the first time in months. I have no words for how much this pleases me.

In other news, I've just written a bibliography and outline for a paper due next week, and may I please say that HOLYSHIT GOOGLEBOOKS. win! I wish Google would hurry up and take over the world so that it can run betterfastercoolernow.

SO. Kid. Made of win and awesome. Eight years old. Someone raise your hand and tell me that you remember back in the day when he was a baby in diapers? y/y? hard, right? His birthday has been celebrated in multiple parts, beginning with stuff at his dad's last friday, then with us on Saturday with fun and brunch at Denny's (his choice!), then arcade, goofing about, Hellboy II (AH OMG WIN), incredible italian dinner with me, Oz, His Dad, and His Dad's girlfriend... that actually did not go as badly as all that. No, really. :P I'm as surprised as you are. :D Birthday madness continues this Saturday as we make a day trip to mom's so that she can stuff him full of cake and presents, and I still want to take him on the Big Trip (disneyland, yo), but that's on hold until after we're all moved in.

Also, yesterday was Oz' birthday and it was fantastic and made of so much win that next year I will be hard-pressed to top it. There was sleeping in (called in sick happy lol), present, homemade tasty brunch (ok, closer to afternoon tea, but still) including cherryberrybanana smoothies, wheat bagels and omelettes, an epic beach drive with frequent stops for amazing overlooks and vistas and minihikes and making out on said overlooks with beautifully cooperating weather, ending in a pie run, then sushi deli dinner with five good friends, then video games and pie at home. Awesome. Flail.


sdklfhlakjsghsg ok, so maybe I didn't quite finish the outline and maybe I'm procrastinating a little bit. Maybe.

....FINE. I'll go finish it. But I'll be back.
